FOR BOXING GYMS
The tree on your wall knows more than your software does
Plenty of boxing gyms have a progression taped to a wall: basic moves, counter punches, combinations. Nothing connects it to any individual member. A coach carries twenty fighters' progress in their head, and it leaves when they do.
Meanwhile the dues are in a spreadsheet, attendance is a clipboard nobody types up, and the first sign that somebody has drifted away is the cancellation email.
LEVELS AND COUNTER SETS
Your poster, as a tree people are actually measured against
The boxing template is the counter-set model a working gym already teaches: an attack, the responses that answer it, and combinations built from numbered punches. Pass/fail for the fundamentals, rep counts where a number means something, and a third kind for the things that are taught rather than scored: footwork sense, not telegraphing, broken rhythm. A coach marks somebody off in seconds at ringside and the fighter sees it that evening.
What that changes for a boxing gym
Counters as relationships, not a list
The tree records that the overhand cross answers the jab, so a coach reading a fighter's sheet sees what they have for each attack rather than an alphabetical list of punches.
Fight camps in one place
Weigh-ins, sparring rounds and fight records for everybody with a date booked. Hard rounds are counted separately from technical, which is the number a coach is accountable for.
Punch trackers and heart-rate straps
Wearables feed straight into a member's training history, so the numbers a fighter already collects stop living in a separate app.
Your own Stripe account
Dues land in your bank, not ours, and a failed card shows on the front desk screen before the member disappears from the gym floor.
